然而，有些人不支持明星慈善的主要原因是很多人根本不了解慈善的真正目的（the ultimate purpose of charity）他们只是将目光放置在明星本身（their focus is placed more on stars themselves）所以从这个角度来说，很多人并不知道慈善的后续进程（the following procedures）以及捐款是否到达需要者的手里（reach to the needy people）。此外，很多名人（famous people ）支持慈善的（support charity）主要是处于自身的考虑（for the sake of their own personal gains）这就会到这这些人只希望得到大众的注意（receive public attention on them）因此，背离了慈善的最初目的（undermine the original charitable intention）
