han geng is a member of the popular korean boy bang super junior.better known as han kyung, his korean stage name, he is the only member of the group that comes from china.
    han geng began to learn dancing at the age of twelve. he learnt chinese traditional dance, ballet and martial arts at school. in 2001 ,he took part in a competition and stood out from more than 3000 persons from the korean judges. in 2003 , he went to south korea to take lessons in singing, dancing and acting.
    he joined super junior in 2005. since he is not korean, he couldn't  appear on certain programs.
    sometimes he had to wear a mask when he was performing on the stage. "i  didn't feel sad . i just wanted to show my best to the audience ." han said .
    the chinese boy studied very  hard. as a foreigner, he had to learn more than others did. han slept four hours a day and spent the rest of time learning dancing and singing. soon he made great progress.
    now, han geng is an idol for both chinese and korean fans. some of his korean fans even wait for him outside his dorm day and night just to give him gifts.
