Both stars stuck with players from their own conference until James took Simmons with his sixth pick.
Unlike last year when James traded Westbrook to Antetokounmpo for Simmons, both sides stood pat after the draft.
The squads will be playing for a charitable beneficiary from the host city of Chicago. James will suit up for Chicago Scholars, a charity that gives support to under-resourced students. Antetokounmpo is playing for After School Matters, an organization that provides students with after-school and summer opportunities.
