Price is so worth it. So much better than going to a US School - healthcare! Rights! Alcohol! Great grading scale. Very self guided, but if real hard times come there is lots of help to be offered. Montreal is an amazing place to be a student - cheap rent, good food, party, snow! I have grEAT friends. You don't need to know French - but you should.

My experience as an international student at McGill has been very unpleasant. I came across with many profs who were very demoralized. The department where I completed my degree was very toxic and unhealthy. Most profs in that dept were McGill's own graduates which clearly showed faculty inbreeding and inability to bring new talents and new blood

I love this university. Everyone is very welcoming and open to help. Diversity is all around, and the environment is great. The professors and students are also very helpful. The only negative thing I can think about is that you will have to walk a lot between your classes, because there are so many different campuses! Make sure you are fit!

Cardiff University, the Law School specifically, is highly inconsistent in its approach. It really is a lottery of what lectures and tutors you get. Some are fantastic, but sadly this is a rarity as many as well below the standard you'd expect and this really hinders the course. It also seems as if the Law School has just been left without any funding whatsoever, for such a big course the facilities are inadequate and very outdated, especially in comparison to the Business School.

Cardiff University is fantastic - with high quality teaching. My course covers a variety of topics from Policy to Sociology. My accommodation is good value and a suitable standard. It's very easy to get around the City, and you can really feel the 'buzz' of the Capital. There are also lots of friendly staff in the Student's Union, making it a nice environment to be in. I've also signed up for work experience through the University which has been a great help and really promising.

The best thing about my course is there are no essays! The price of my accommodation is covered completely by my student loan and the facilities are perfect. My favourite things to do in the City are shopping and going on nights out. There are lots of useful facilities, such as, computers in the library, however, overall the Maths building could be updated. I'm a member of the Mathsoc and Board Game Society and they are enjoyable.
