While fans are furious about the announcement due to Yong Junhyung’s past, specifically his involvement in the Burning Sun Scandal, netizens have shared their anger towards HyunA because of her ex-boyfriend DAWN.

HyunA and DAWN were the “couple” for years. In particular, netizens believed that DAWN sacrificed so much for HyunA after he joined her in leaving CUBE. Yet, while HyunA’s career was seemingly unaffected by leaving, DAWN had to leave PENTAGON. while he had a solo career, many think both he and the group would’ve had better futures together.
When they announced their engagement, it all seemed to be worth it.

However, DAWN always seemed more into marriage than HyunA. In one appearance after the announcement, HyunA explained, “I was proposed to not too long ago, but… I don’t want to get married.”
