In an interview, Dawn confessed his true feelings to HyunA after breaking up. Along with this, he personally addressed reunion and marriage rumors circulating them.

He continued:
"It is natural common sense to get married if you give a ring, but I have no common sense."
As to why he didn't address the marriage rumor sooner, Dawn stated that he initially thought he was going to get married later, thus, it doesn't make sense to say he doesn't have the intention to tie the knot.
Meanwhile, HyunA and Dawn were loved as a representative star couple after admitting their romantic relationship in 2016.
Unfortunately, the former lover broke up in November 2022.
